Letter to Reviewers

Dear Reviewers,

Why are you so ignorant? I guess so many people in the world are ignorant that you and others, just can’t help themselves.

What ever happened to “to each his own”. Consumerism is being driven by reviews now, but I’m getting so tired of seeing lazy people, dummies who don’t read directions, and just generally idiots give bad ratings to good products. Nowadays ratings make or break a product, or do they? I don’t see folks going out of business on a 1 star review. I’m just tired of all this petty and un-thought out crap getting on the review list.

What happened to understanding that every product is not for everyone? some will like it, some wont. There are over 7 billion people in the world today, OF COURSE EVERYTHING WONT WORK FOR EVERYONE!

Example: I play a lot of free games that have in game currency on Facebook, my phone, whatever. The reviews always say “This game is not free! They want you to buy in game currency.” So, yea, the game is free, you just have the option to buy in game currency. And it’s not fair to give a review like that. Most of these games now are doing that! Are you gonna give a bad review to all of them… or are you gonna find one you like and go easy on that one… and buy in game currency without complaint?

Buy your size.

Read the directions.

Calm down.

Be realistic.

Everything is not perfect. I’m sorry you “lost” 5.99 or that you impulse shop but don’t cut down a product for something stupid, like “This shirt is orange, not peach, the ad was wrong, I hate orange.”

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Realistic Shopper Jr.

  1. LOL definitely know this feeling. Unfortunately that attitude has become so prevalent that it’s really corrupting something that I may make my own livelihood in one day. People with big money will PAY reviewers to give their products a positive review if these reviews have a lot of impact and it’s really quite sad that it’s become this extreme.

    1. Yea. I just got a receipt from Burger King that said, “Get a free whopper when you give us an Excellent Rating!” but if you had a concern you had to “email it directly”, which I guess did not get you a whopper.
